"A warm welcome and comfortable accommodation".

Conveniently situated in the centre of the ancient mid-peak district village of Tideswell, opposite the NatWest Bank (which has an ATM), Poppies offer a very warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and good, home-produced food at a reasonable cost.

Activities

All Peak District attractions and activities are easily reached, whilst Tideswell boasts a number of local hostelries serving good food. Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton and Baslow (with Chatsworth nearby) are within 20 minutes drive.

General Information

Our accommodation comprises a double en-suite room, and a twin plus a family room with a private bathroom; of course all rooms have a wash basin, colour TV, central heating & beverage making facilities.

One important point to note is that Poppies is a "no smoking" establishment. Less usual facilities are secure indoor cycle storage and we also accept well behaved dogs.

Reservations

Reservations can be made by e-mail or telephone and we usually ask for written confirmation and deposit of £10 (cheque payable to Poppies), per room booked.

Prices

Our rates per person per night are £26. These rates include a substantial continental breakfast. Our optional full English breakfast is an additional £2.50. We accept payment by cash or cheque only.
